            Hello everyone, and welcome back to Foursaken Feature, where we feature new things for your fourth edition game each and every week.  This week is Elf Week, and so we will be devoting our attention to the race of elves.  Below you can expect to find a couple of alternate racial powers for elves and a handful of new elf racial feats.

Alternate Racial Features

            Below is a pair of alternate racial packages for elves, reflecting different lifestyle choices.  These packages offer a group of replacements for some of the racial features of the basic elf; you keep all of the other racial benefits of the elf race.  Note: if you like only some aspects of a package, feel free to use what you want and ignore the rest.

Reclusive Elf
-  Skill Bonus:  You gain a +2 racial bonus to the Stealth skill; this replaces the previous skill bonus to Perception.
-  Group Stealth: You grant non-elf allies within 10 squares a +1 bonus on Stealth checks; this replaces the Group Awareness racial trait.
-  Forest Home: While in wooded areas you gain a +2 bonus on initiative rolls, as well as on all Nature and Stealth checks; this replaces the Wild Step racial trait.

Wandering Elf
-  Wanderer Weapon Proficiency: You are gain proficiency with any one light blade; this replaces the Elven Weapon Proficiency racial trait. 
-  Skill Bonus: You gain a +2 racial bonus to the Streetwise skill; this replaces the previous skill bonus to the Nature skill.
-  Wanderer’s Acumen: You sell goods at 1/3 their normal value, instead of 1/5 their normal value; this replaces the Wild Step racial trait.

 

-  Elven Grace: You can use Elven Grace as an encounter power; this replaces Elven Accuracy.

-  Elven Reflexes: You can use Elven Reflexes as an encounter power; this replaces Elven Accuracy.

New Feats

Heroic Tier

Superior Elven Reflexes [Elf]
Prerequisite: Elf, Elven Reflexes
Benefit: After you use your Elven Reflexes power, you gain a +2 bonus to reflex defense until the end of your next turn.

Graceful Maneuverability [Elf]
Prerequisite: Elf, Elven Grace
Benefit: After using your Elven Grace power, you gain a +4 bonus to AC against attacks of opportunity until the end of your next turn. 

Paragon Tier

Great Merchant
Prerequisite: Wanderer’s Acumen or Training in Bluff, Diplomacy, and Streetwise
Benefit: You purchase items with a 10% discount.

Old Blood [half-elf]
Prerequisite: half-elf
Benefit: You gain any one elven racial power as a daily power.

Forest Lord [Elf]
Prerequisite: Elf, Forest Home
Benefit: You ignore difficult terrain in wooded areas; additionally, while in wooded areas you grant an additional +1 Stealth bonus to all non-elf allies within 10 squares.

Epic Tier

Elven Heart [Elf]
Prerequisite: Elf
Benefit: You may use your Elven racial power(s) one additional time per encounter.
