Combatting Darkness
Welcome to Foursaken Feature. Since this is Darkness Week, I thought I would create a few darkness elementals so that darkness can become more tangible and allow for more variety in dealing with it, rather than just casting a light spell. So I bring you the duskshade elemental, a form of elemental that manifests different facets of darkness and the emotions that are associated with it.
Duskshade Sprite
Duskshade sprites are small, child-like elemental beings made up of darkness and shadows. They are a mischievous sort and enjoy playing tricks on those that walk the dark unprepared.
Duskshade Bruiser
Duskshade bruisers are man-sized elemental beings made up of darkness that take a vaguely humanoid shape. They are easily angered and are the most violent of all darkshade elementals. They stalk the night in search of weary or unprepared travelers to maim or kill.
Duskshade Mistform
Duskshade mistforms are large elemental beings that take the form of a nebulous cloud of darkness. They seem to embody the peaceful and calming side of darkness, and though they are slow to hostilities, they are in fact one of the more dangerous forms of duskshade elemental.
Duskshade Devourer
Duskshade devourers are huge elemental beings made up of pure darkness. They take the form of a terrifying apparition that is the manifestation of the viewer’s greatest fears. Duskshade devourers are able to devour all light, leaving an area submerged in darkness. They are the manifestation of the primal fear of the dark, and they are the most dangerous and destructive of the duskshade elementals.
