Welcome again to From the Workshop, where we showcase a bevy of new magic items, monsters and even alternate class features. This week I have four new jellyfish monsters: the moon jelly swarm, the man o’ war, the lion’s mane jellyfish, and the astral jellyfish.
Jellyfish are ooze-like vermin, which capture their prey with a strong poison that can cause paralysis in a matter of moments.
All jellyfish have the following traits:
Amorphous Not subject to critical hits or flanking. Does not take additional damage from precision-based attacks, such as sneak attack.
Blind Has the blindsight special quality, as well as immunity to gaze attacks, visual effects, illusions, and other attack forms that rely on sight.
