Sigmund d'Avenant

Welcome again to Masters and Minions, where I strive to give you interesting NPCs and encounters that can be placed easily into your game. In honor of Explorer Week, this week’s encounter is with the dwarven explorer Sigmund d’Avenant. Throughout the course of Sigmund d’Avenant’s career he has discovered countless ancient ruins. Sigmund d’Avenant has recently begun preparing for an expedition into the Kalaino jungle and he wants to hire experienced adventurers to accompany him while he searches for the ancient Kalaino ruins. The PCs could also be hired by one of Sigmund’s competitors, to prevent him from finding the ruins.
